The City of Roanoke says DMV Select services will be paused through Wednesday, Oct. 7, while Treasurer's Office staff prioritizes processing real-estate tax payments. The notice applies to DMV Select transactions; it does not announce a closure of the office.
Other Treasurer's Office services will remain available during the pause. Residents who need a DMV transaction during that week are encouraged to use the Virginia DMV's online services when their business can be handled digitally.
