ROANOKE — The Old Southwest Halloween Lantern Parade and Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, according to the City of Roanoke’s official calendar.

The calendar lists the event from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Alexander Gish House and Highland Park. The listing describes art activities and workshops, artist and small-business vendors, music, food vendors, dancing and a costume contest.

Residents planning to attend should check the city’s event listing for any updates about the parade route, parking, accessibility, weather plans or participation details. The current calendar entry does not provide a separate admission price or registration instruction.
