The City of Roanoke's official road-closure calendar lists a special-event closure on Luck Avenue SW between 3rd and 4th streets from Friday, Oct. 23, through Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026. The notice identifies the closure as part of Straight Street Youth Night.
A separate City of Roanoke notice lists Norfolk Avenue SW between 8th and 9th streets as closed from Oct. 23 through Oct. 24 for the Terror Manor event. Both notices are marked as all-day closure windows, so drivers should expect the affected blocks to be unavailable during event operations.
The two closure areas are in Roanoke, Virginia, and affect routes into the downtown and nearby event areas. The city advises residents with questions or concerns to call 540-853-2676. Drivers should allow extra time and choose an alternate route before heading into the area Friday or Saturday.
