Roanoke County's in-person early-voting period reaches its final day this weekend ahead of the August 4 dual-party primary.
The county's official notice lists special voting hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Elections Office, 900 Chestnut St. in Vinton, and at the Brambleton Center satellite office, 3738 Brambleton Ave., Suite 10A.
The same locations accept voted absentee ballots in drop bags during early-voting hours. After 5 p.m. Saturday, the notice says voters who want to vote in person must use their assigned polling place on Election Day, when polls are scheduled to be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 4.
Voters should confirm their registration and assigned Election Day polling location through the county's official election resources before traveling.
