Roanoke County's Planning Commission is scheduled to take up two listed land-use applications on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026: one from Network Towers, LLC and another tied to the Economic Development Authority of Roanoke County at 2222 Electric Road.
The county's official Planning Commission page lists Aug. 4 as the commission date for both applications and Aug. 18 as the corresponding Board of Supervisors date. The page identifies Skylar Camerlinck as the planner assigned to Network Towers and Alyssa Dunbar as the planner assigned to the 2222 Electric Road application.
The commission is an advisory board to the Board of Supervisors and handles recommendations on land-use issues. Roanoke County says meetings are typically held at the County Administration Center, 5204 Bernard Drive, and that meeting packets are posted before meetings. The page does not yet describe the requested approvals, site changes or project scope, so the listing should not be read as an approval or a description of proposed construction.
Residents should check the county's latest agenda and packet before attending or commenting; the county also provides an online sign-up option for speakers.
