Roanoke businesses have until Sept. 30 to document equipment purchases for city match

Roanoke businesses participating in the city's Business Equipment Incentive Program have until Sept. 30, 2026, to submit receipts and supporting documentation for eligible purchases made through the current funding round.

The program offers a 50/50 match on qualifying equipment, with a maximum award of $20,000 for manufacturing and industrial businesses. The city's published guidance says the commercial and retail allocation is fully committed, while the department continues to provide the reimbursement instructions and purchase-review process for eligible applicants.
