In December 2025 the governor announced a $4.9 million expansion of the Cornerstone Building Brands plant in Rocky Mount, adding 50 jobs.
The Rocky Mount site makes Ply Gem doors and windows. Governor Glenn Youngkin approved a $100,000 state grant to help Franklin County with the project.
