Virginia historical marker for the Village of Ferrum dedicated 2024
Ferrum
A state historical marker for the village of Ferrum was dedicated near St. James Methodist Church on April 13, 2024.
Ferrum College lists the dedication on its history timeline. An older marker about Ferrum Junior College had been put up along Route 40 in 1968. The college itself was founded in 1913 as a Methodist-affiliated training school.
