An altercation occurred near Kornner Kitchen in Uptown Martinsve, resulting in injuries to several individuals, including a police officer. The officer sustained a cut to the chest but has been reported as stable and is currently being evaluated by EMS.
The incident unfolded as officers attempted to break up a fight on Main Street, during which an officer and a suspect crashed through a plate glass window in the basement area of the old Globemans. Both the officer and the suspect received medical treatment and have since been released from the hospital.
At this time, the names of the injured officer and the suspect involved in the incident are not available. However, two additional suspects, identified as Michael Pritchett and Coy Grant, have been arrested and are currently in custody at the city jail. It is important to note that the altercation did not originate at Kornner Kitchen, and the suspects were not patrons of the establishment.
