*EDEN, NC (Star News)* – A Roanoke woman has been arrested in connection with a house fire in Eden, North Carolina, which authorities believe was intentionally set.
Tesha Camelle Joyce was taken into custody on Thursday, August 15, 2024, and is currently being held without bond at the Roanoke Adult Detention Center. She faces charges of first-degree arson stemming from a fire that broke out on the night of August 12, 2024.
Emergency services, including the Eden Police Department and local fire departments, responded to the blaze at 2388 Harrington Highway just before midnight. Thankfully, all occupants of the home escaped without injury, but the fire resulted in extensive damage to both the residence and a vehicle.
Investigators determined that the fire was started with malicious intent, leading to Joyce's arrest.
