Three suspects have been charged in connection with a series of package thefts, according to the Davidson County Sheriff's Office (DCSO).

On Thursday, DCSO detectives from the TRACE Team conducted a traffic stop on a Honda at Pineridge Road in Lexington. During the stop, authorities identified three individuals involved in the theft of FedEx packages.

All suspects have been arrested and charged. Angela Varela, 36, faces multiple charges: three counts of conspiring to commit felony larceny, two counts of felony larceny, and one count of attempted felony larceny. Juan Aponte has the same charges as Varela.

Leonard Jeffrey, 32, is also facing three counts of conspiring to commit felony larceny, two counts of felony larceny, and one count of attempted larceny.

The investigation into these package thefts is ongoing. Authorities urge residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity. The DCSO stresses the importance of community cooperation in combating such crimes.
