The Eden Police Department has secured felony warrants against 40-year-old Ashley Dawn Patterson following an investigation into animal neglect and drug-related offenses. Investigators discovered that Patterson had traveled to Virginia, leaving her dog unattended without care.
Detective Tyson Scales, in collaboration with the Rockingham County District Attorney's Office, has charged Patterson with:
- 1 Count of Cruelty to Animals (Felony)
- 1 Count of Manufacture Marijuana (Felony)
