PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, Va. - In a shocking turn of events, a man has been taken into custody after allegedly murdering his father in Roanoke and subsequently shooting at a police officer.
24-year-old Rayjaun Calloway was apprehended by Virginia State Police on Sunday afternoon. This arrest came approximately five hours after a Farmville police officer spotted him near Route 460 and Hixburg Road.

The motive behind these heinous acts is still unclear. The identity of the slain father has not been released yet. The condition of the officer who was shot at is also unknown at this time.
