A brand-new community park opened its gates in Martinsville this weekend. The park, named 'Blue Ridge Harmony Park', offers a playground, picnic areas, walking trails, and a dog park.Local officials, residents, and children turned out in numbers for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday. The park is the result of a two-year effort by the Martinsville City Council to provide more recreational facilities for residents.
