Danville adult softball registration deadline is July 31

Danville adults who want a recreational softball season have until July 31 to register for the city's fall adult softball league.

The league is scheduled to play at Dan Daniel Memorial Park from late August into early November, with games listed for Mondays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m.

Danville Parks and Recreation lists the cost as $185 per team sponsorship or $15 per player. The department's calendar says players should call 434-799-5214 for registration information and current availability.

People organizing a team should confirm the final roster, payment instructions and any schedule changes with the Sports and Athletics Division before the deadline.
