Danville Parks and Recreation is giving residents three easy ways to build an outdoor Sunday into the August calendar, with options on the water, in the air and on the trail.
Sunday Paddle is listed for Aug. 2 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Abreu-Grogan Park Boathouse, 2020 Memorial Drive. The city calendar lists the program as part of its 2026 River Trips series.
On Aug. 9 from 2 to 3:30 p.m., the calendar lists Sunday Zipline at the Dan Daniel Memorial Park Zip Line. The month’s third outdoor Sunday is Sunday Hike Club on Aug. 16 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Anglers Park, 350 Northside Drive.
