Families with young children can explore a Greensboro lake and nature trail Saturday, Sept. 26, through the city's Nature Preschool program at Lake Higgins.
The official city calendar lists the program from 10 to 11 a.m. at Lake Higgins, 4235 Hamburg Mill Road, Greensboro, North Carolina 27358. The program is designed for children ages 2-6.
The city's listing says each session begins with a short book, followed by an activity or craft and a snack before participants head out to explore the regional parks. The Sept. 26 program is listed as "Reel Fishing."
