GREENSBORO — Creative Greensboro is bringing The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales to the stage for a four-day run beginning Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026.
The production is scheduled for Oct. 22 through Oct. 25 at the Van Dyke Performance Space inside the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St. The official arts calendar lists 7 p.m. performances Thursday through Saturday and a 2 p.m. Sunday performance.
The show is a comedic stage adaptation based on the children’s book by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith, with a script by John Glore. Creative Greensboro describes the production as a playful reworking of familiar storybook fables for all ages.
The city’s event listing gives a $10 ticket price and says tickets will be available through Creative Greensboro. Audiences should check the official event record for current ticket availability and any schedule changes before traveling.
