4:08 pm FRI - 9/11/26 - ROTATION IN THE MID LEVELS OF A SEVERE STORM DROPPING SSE THROUGH APPOMATTOX CO AND LYNCHBURG
This storm is tracking along a boundary/ front that’s enhancing the spin and shear in the air. There is also high lift and instability along the boundary. This is a combo that can sometimes cause tornadoes. The NWS agrees.
Keep an eye on this storm. As it rotates it may track more to the Lynchburg area.’if the rotation weakens it’ll track further east.
