Three men are in custody and face multiple charges after a shooting Tuesday night that wounded one of the suspects and sent bullets into a Greensboro home, police say.
The Greensboro Police Department says Donnaline Sanders, 20, Sanchez Sanders, 22, and Sevon Livingston, 22, were charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, felony conspiracy, assault with a deadly weapon, going armed to the terror of the people, injury to personal property and misdemeanor conspiracy. Around 10:36 p.m., officers were called to the 2200 block of Wilcox Drive for a shooting and, on the way, were told someone had been struck by gunfire in the 3600 block of Country Ridge Drive. There they found Sanchez Sanders with a gunshot wound to his left ankle; EMS took him to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators also determined a home on the 3700 block of Country Ridge Drive had been struck by gunfire, with no further injuries.
All three are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court, and the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
