Far-reaching effects well away from the center swirl of our storm in the Atlantic off the coast. Rough seas, surge, coastal flooding and beach erosion continue as a shield of wind-blown rain and wind gusts of 40-60 mph near the beaches tonight into the weekend.

Inland, dry, chilly air is being pulled south with northerly breezes.

The system is moving NW but may wobble or become somewhat erratic as it gets stuck in the same region somewhere close to the coast, perhaps further south and west than originally thought.

When storms stall, it’ll actually harder to forecast their path because the longer duration means more eddies and fronts to possibly impact the track. Stay tuned!
