Dr. Mahati Upadyayula has joined Sovah Family Medicine in Martinsville as a primary care physician, Sovah Health announced Monday.

Upadyayula will provide women's health services, preventive care and physicals, along with treatment for hypertension, acute illnesses, diabetes and other chronic conditions.

The practice is accepting new patients, and scheduling will begin Nov. 11, according to Sovah Health.
