Virginia’s Fastest Stock Car Takes Over VIR — And Joey Arrington Said “Start Your Engines!”

DANVILLE, Va. — It wasn't exactly race day, but there was still plenty of horsepower on display Saturday at Virginia International Raceway.

The VA250 Car made an appearance at VIR, giving racing fans the chance to get up close and personal with what is being billed as the “Fastest Stock Car in the World.”

Adding a little official racing flair to the event, Joey Arrington delivered the command everyone loves to hear:

“Start your engines!”

The VA250 Car will make another appearance Sunday at the main Pavilion, giving visitors another opportunity to check it out and grab a photo.

So if you've ever wanted your picture taken with a race car without having to explain to a police officer why you're standing in the middle of the track, Sunday is your chance.
