A little friendly competition can make a big difference this Christmas!
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office held a friendly law enforcement shooting competition to raise money for Santa Cops for Kids. Thanks to everyone who participated and supported the event, we raised nearly $2,100 to help provide Christmas presents for children in need throughout our community!
Competitors put their handgun skills to the test through six challenging stages focused on accuracy, speed, and precision, all while supporting a meaningful cause.
Please join us in congratulating our division winners and runners-up:
SWAT Division Top Shooter: Tyler Moore, Animal Services Unit Runner-up: Aaron Davis, Patrol Division
Firearms Instructor Division Winner: Rob Gillespie, School Resource Officer Runner-up: Nick Farley, Patrol Division
Supervisor Division Winner: Stephanie Blake, Corrections Division
General Division Winner: Samuel Haskew, Corrections Division Runner-up: Ian Bishop, Corrections Division
Thank you to every shooter, volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped make this event a success. Your generosity will help put presents under the tree and smiles on the faces of local children this Christmas!
