The Rockingham County Library outreach bookmobile is scheduled to make three county stops this week: Moore's Store Bookmobile Stop-Bethany from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29; Stoneville Branch from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 1; and Palestine Methodist from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1.
The county says the mobile library provides free checkout service for cardholders and carries books, DVDs, CDs, games and other materials. The vehicle also has Wi-Fi and two desks with iPads and laptops available for checkout.
Residents may register for a library card in person or online, place holds for pickup at the Rockingham Outreach location and return bookmobile materials to any county branch. Stop schedules can change, so readers should use the county's outreach page for the latest timing before leaving.
