Rockingham County Fire Marshal's toy drive accepts donations through Nov. 15

REIDSVILLE — The Rockingham County Fire Marshal’s Office is collecting new, unwrapped toys and comfort items through Nov. 15, 2026, for patients and families supported by the Jaycee Burn Center and Baptist Burn Center.

The annual drive is seeking donations for people of all ages. Requested items include toys, pajamas, blankets, gloves, oven mitts, eyeglasses, personal-care products and other comfort items or everyday essentials.

Collection boxes are available at participating Rockingham County fire departments, rescue squads, public libraries, the county Governmental Center, Emergency Services, the District Attorney’s Office and other listed partners. The county notice also identifies participating departments in Eden, Reidsville, Summerfield and Stokesdale, along with Divine Nutrition at 403 W. Kings Highway in Eden.

Residents should bring donations to a participating collection site before Nov. 15. The Fire Marshal’s Office says residents who need help arranging a pickup can call 336-634-3007. Participating locations will also compete through decorated collection boxes, with community voting on Facebook.
