Roanoke County Splash Valley plans Aug. 8 Glow Night before school starts

Families looking for a late-summer pool outing can make plans for an after-dark event at Roanoke County's Splash Valley Water Park.

Glow Night is set for Saturday, Aug. 8, from 8 to 10 p.m. The county says the event will include music from a DJ and glow sticks as the sun sets on the last Saturday before school starts back in Roanoke County.
