The Winston-Salem apparel maker agrees to sell its Champion brand to Authentic Brands.
Hanesbrands announced on June 5, 2024 a plan to sell its Champion brand to Authentic Brands Group for 1.2 billion dollars. In July 2024 the company reported it would move its headquarters from Oak Summit Road to the Park Building in downtown Winston-Salem.
