Winston-Salem Long Branch Trail public-input meeting set Sept. 30

Winston-Salem residents will have an in-person opportunity to weigh in on the Long Branch Trail connector during a public-input meeting Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Samaritan Ministries, 414 E. Northwest Boulevard, Winston-Salem. The City of Winston-Salem transportation page lists the event as the Wake Forest University Long Branch Trail Connector Public Input Meeting No. 1.

The project information asks residents to consider the connection from the existing phase two trail toward a proposed phase three ending at The Grounds. The official transportation page says the survey will remain open until December and gives residents a way to vote on their preferred phase-three route.
