Danville’s Reflections of Home Arts Week runs Sept. 19-27, bringing a week of writing, visual art and performance programs into the city’s River District and surrounding arts venues.
The City of Danville says the arts week is intended to celebrate local artists and showcase the region’s creative work. One featured project, “Words From Home,” invites writers to submit short prose, essays and poetry connected to the Danville and Pittsylvania County region for a community publication organized by the Ruby B. Archie Public Library.
