Danville’s River District will keep its Thursday-evening music series going in August, with two more Music on Main dates pairing live performances with later shopping hours downtown.
The River District Association lists The League of Ordinary Gentlemen from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, outside The Dog-Eared Page Bookshop at 525 Main St. A second date is set for 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, when Trevor Percario and Roland Burnot are scheduled at Moss Mountain Outfitters, 326 Main St.
Music on Main is designed as a district-wide evening rather than a single-ticket concert. The association says participating businesses will stay open later, giving visitors a chance to combine the performances with shopping, dining and a walk through the River District.
The series is presented by Caesars Virginia and the River District Association. Residents should confirm the schedule with the association before traveling because outdoor programming and business hours can change.
