CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. — Virginia State Police have issued a Critically Missing Adult Alert for a Campbell County woman who was last reportedly seen Thursday.
Amanda June Bruffy, 44, was reported missing Monday, August 31, according to the Campbell County Sheriff's Office.
Police describe Bruffy as a 44-year-old white female, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde hair. Her clothing description is currently unknown.
Authorities say Bruffy was last reported seen on Thursday, August 27.
Police say the disappearance poses a credible threat to Bruffy's health and safety, as determined by the investigating agency.
This is not the first time Bruffy has been reported missing. She was previously reported missing in July 2026.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have seen Bruffy or has information about her current whereabouts to contact the Campbell County Sheriff's Office at (434) 332-9574.
