Most nonprofits help people who come to them, but The Life of Victory in Christ Ministries Community Development Corporation in Greensboro focuses on revitalizing and strengthening entire neighborhoods.

President Kenneth Holly says the organization believes in canvassing, knocking on doors and holding public venues in the streets so people can hear the message, see the reality of what is happening and build relationships with each other. The faith-based Community Development Corporation brings organizations, institutions, agencies and churches together, with the goal of pooling resources and services to improve neighborhoods, and Holly says it is bringing all the resources and support to the doorstep of the people who need it most in Guilford County. One engagement method, Health in the Streets, brings free health screenings directly into neighborhoods.

Holly also sits on the Community Grantmaking Council of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro.
