Greensboro calendar offers late-July recreation stops for families

Families looking for a simple activity before August arrives can find two parks-and-recreation options on Greensboro's city calendar this week.

Fishing for Fun is listed for 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at Country Park. The calendar categorizes it for children ages 5-12.

Also Thursday, the Peeler Recreation Center lists a free Parade and Drill workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. for children ages 5-12. The program page lists the event under parks and recreation workshops.
