Greensboro arts grant sets July 30 information session, Aug. 15 deadline

Greensboro nonprofits can learn more Thursday, July 30, about a city grant program that will provide operating support to eligible creative and cultural organizations.

Creative Greensboro’s Sustaining Creativity: Community Partnerships Grant program is designed for nonprofit organizations focused on creative programming that are not already receiving significant city resources. The city says awards will range from $10,000 to $25,000, with up to $300,000 available overall.

The first information session is scheduled for July 30 online by Zoom. The city also lists an in-person session for 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie St., Suite 101. Applicants can request one-on-one virtual consultations for Aug. 13-14.

Applications are due online by Aug. 15, 2026. The city says awards are competitive and that grant amounts are tiered by organizational budget, with larger awards available to qualifying organizations in the smallest budget tier. Final review is scheduled by Aug. 29, with notification on or before Sept. 12.

Nonprofits considering an application should review the city’s program guidelines and application worksheet before the deadline. The program is general operating support rather than funding tied to one specific event or project.
