A man wanted in a Halifax County convenience store robbery has been arrested, according to the sheriff's office.

The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says the man was taken into custody Friday, August 14, in connection with a robbery at Smiley's Convenience Store. Investigators identified him as a suspect and made the arrest a short time after the crime.

The suspect is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

A man wanted in a Halifax County convenience store robbery has been arrested, according to the sheriff's office. The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says the man was taken into custody Friday, August 14, in connection with a robbery at Smiley's Convenience Store.
