A sprawling Lake Norman property is back on the market at $19.5 million, and a sale would break the Charlotte area's record for the most expensive home ever sold.

The gated estate on Hollen Lane in Mooresville spans 5.9 acres and includes three separate homes, with the main residence topping 9,000 square feet with six bedrooms. It was first listed in late 2023 for $22 million but did not sell. The current record for the region is a $15 million sale at Charlotte's Quail Hollow Club.

The property's tax value is listed at $6.1 million.
