The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team, Narcotics Detectives and Criminal Investigations Detectives executed the search warrant at 2974 Settle Bridge Road following what deputies described as an extensive narcotics investigation.

According to the Sheriff's Office, investigators seized:

Arrested was 27-year-old Jaden Leanthony Scales, who investigators said lives at the address.

Scales was charged with:

His next scheduled court date is October 10, 2026.

Sheriff Billy Parker said illegal drug dealing "will not be tolerated" in Rockingham County and said the Sheriff's Office and partner agencies will continue pursuing suspected drug dealers.

Parker also commended the agencies and personnel involved, including the Sheriff's Office Special Response Team, Narcotics Division, Criminal Investigation Division and Patrol Division, along with Rockingham County Emergency Services, Tactical Medics, 911 Communications and tele-communicators.

Another Rockingham County drug investigation has resulted in a major seizure — and a $100,000 question for one Stoneville man.
