Nelson Traffic Alert - FedEx Truck Among Vehicles in Multi-Car Crash on US 220 South
ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. — A multi-vehicle crash involving several vehicles, including a FedEx delivery truck, caused traffic headaches on US 220 South Friday morning.
The crash was reported shortly after 10:20 a.m. just past Yellow Mountain Road.
Emergency crews arrived on scene within minutes and began working the crash.
The southbound lanes were completely blocked following the collision, creating delays for motorists traveling through the area.
Officials had not immediately released information on injuries or the cause of the crash.
Drivers were advised to use caution and expect delays while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
