— Police say a man accused of spending Sunday evening getting into vehicles that didn't belong to him has traded North Main Street for a considerably more secure address.
The Hillsville Police Department says Nathaniel Alexander was arrested Monday in connection with a series of alleged vehicle break-ins.
According to police, the incidents occurred Sunday evening in the area of North Main Street and Water Street, near Hillsville Town Hall.
Investigators allege Alexander broke into multiple vehicles in the area.
Police subsequently identified Alexander as a suspect, and he was arrested Monday and charged in connection with the incidents.
