Officials at Rockford Elementary School recognized the school's cafeteria staff for making National School Lunch Week a fun-filled circus celebration. Staff members honored include Rebecca Combs, Rebecca Gutierrez, Angie Goodwin, Jessica Holder, Vickie Doby and Elizabeth Ansell.

School officials thanked the team for the time, creativity and hard work they put into making the week special for students. In a statement, the school said it is thankful to have such a wonderful cafeteria team, adding that the staff makes Rockford Elementary a great place to be.

National School Lunch Week is an annual observance that highlights the school lunch program and the cafeteria employees who serve students every day. The recognition came as schools across the region marked the week with activities, decorations and special menus.
