Patrick & Henry Community College is pointing to national recognition, workforce expansion and student-completion gains in its newly released 2025-26 year in review.
The college says it was recognized through the Aspen Institute Community College Excellence Program and became certified as a Gold-Level Caring Campus. P&HCC also listed new funding tied to student support, industrial skilled trades, construction pre-hire training, the College Success Coach Initiative, RSVP programming and campus safety upgrades.
The report says 475 unduplicated graduates earned 732 academic credentials during the 2025-26 academic year, with 241 students participating in commencement. P&HCC also highlighted healthcare pass-rate outcomes, expanded FESTO industrial certifications and the launch of Patrick Promise with the Patrick County Education Foundation.
