ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. — Roanoke County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a business on Brambleton Avenue.
According to police, the robbery occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on July 31 in the 3500 block of Brambleton Avenue.
Investigators say the suspect is described as a shorter, stocky male who brandished a firearm during the robbery. An undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise was taken before the suspect fled the area.
Police have released photos of the suspect in hopes that someone will recognize him and provide information that could lead to his identification.
Authorities said there is no known threat to the public at this time, but the investigation remains active.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the robbery is asked to contact the Roanoke County Police Department at 540-777-5233.
