Good News for Breakfast Lovers: Neese's Country Sausage Returning to Store Shelves

After months of empty shelves and disappointed fans, Neese's Country Sausage is making its long-awaited return.

The beloved North Carolina brand announced that its products will begin reappearing in stores before the end of August following production issues and a change in ownership that temporarily halted availability.

Starting this month, three of the company's most popular varieties will be stocked in more than 500 Food Lion stores across North Carolina and Virginia:

Regular Country Sausage Hot Country Sausage Extra Sage Country Sausage

The company said the initial rollout will begin in select Food Lion locations this month, with products expected to be available chainwide at Food Lion later this fall.

Neese's has long been a staple in Southern kitchens, and its absence sparked countless questions from loyal customers searching for the iconic breakfast sausage. The return is welcome news for fans who have been waiting months to see the familiar packages back in grocery coolers.

The company has not yet announced when additional products or other grocery chains will begin carrying Neese's again.
