Mayberry Days returns to Mount Airy from Monday through Sunday, Sept. 21-27, with a week of concerts, family activities, cultural programs and events tied to the city’s Mayberry heritage.

The official Visit Mayberry listing says activities will take place at walkable downtown venues including the Andy Griffith Playhouse in the Historic Earle Theatre, the Andy Griffith Museum, the Blackmon Amphitheatre and the Arts Center. The site says visitors can expect a mayoral proclamation, guided tours, guest appearances, children’s activities and the Mayberry Days Parade.
