MOUNT AIRY — The Andy Griffith Museum’s Professor Brower lecture series continues at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, with a program titled “Aunt Bee’s Romance.”
The lecture will be held in the Andy Griffith Museum Theatre below the museum. The Surry Arts Council says the program is included with admission on the day of the lecture and uses general-admission seating.
The Aug. 15 program is the third listed stop in the 2026 series. Earlier lectures focused on “Wedding Bells for Aunt Bee” on June 20 and “Aunt Bee’s Medicine Man” on July 25.
Residents and visitors planning to attend should allow time to arrive before the 2 p.m. start and check the museum or Surry Arts Council directly for any same-day changes. The lecture series offers a recurring arts and local-history option during the summer tourism season.
