SALEM — Salem Parks and Recreation will bring three bluegrass acts to Longwood Park on Saturday, Aug. 15, for the city’s annual Pickin’ in the Park concert.
The free program is scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Southern Rail Express is listed for 5:30 p.m., Wound Tight for 6:30 p.m. and Junior Sisk for 7:30 p.m. The event gives Roanoke Valley residents a single outdoor evening lineup rather than a multi-day festival schedule.
