The City of Roanoke said regular curbside recycling service is scheduled to resume the week of Monday, May 4, following temporary delays linked to CDL-driver staffing constraints.
In an April 28 release, city officials said crews are collecting B-Week routes and closing out delayed stops while maintaining broader trash, bulk, and brush operations.
The city also directed residents to its regular collection tools, including online route guidance and app-based schedule access, as operations transition back to normal cadence.
For Roanoke neighborhoods that saw recent service disruptions, the May 4 date is the key operational benchmark to watch for full route stabilization.
