Families and adults looking for an outdoor creative activity can register for a Nature Art workshop at Roanoke County's Explore Park on Saturday, Aug. 22.
The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to noon at Explore Park, 56 Roanoke River Parkway Road. The county says participants will rotate through activity stations that pair naturalist lessons with crafts, including nature painting, Gelli-plate printing, and stick-and-twine weaving.
