Roanoke libraries line up Friday storytimes, games and a book club

Roanoke residents have five public-library programs to choose from Friday, July 31, with activities spread across the city from late morning through the afternoon.

The calendar lists a themed Storytime at Gainsboro Library from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Video Game Roulette for teens at Belmont Library from 11 a.m. to noon, and Frozen Fridays at Melrose Library from noon to 5 p.m. The Raleigh Court Library book club meets from 1 to 3 p.m.

Gainsboro Library also hosts Baby Storytime and Sing-a-Long from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. in the community room. The program is designed for babies and caregivers, while the other listings give families, teens and adult readers separate ways to use the library on the same day.
